Barın Cilt Ürünler

Emin Barın, together with his father-in-law İzzet Samurkaş, opened the ‘Barın Bookbinding and Calligraphy Workshop’ on Narlı Bahçe Street in Cağaloğlu in 1949.

In this workshop, books are bound using classical Eastern and Western techniques as well as modern techniques; luxury albums, diaries, diploma bindings, and especially valuable book bindings are made by hand; beneath its modest appearance, it is an art institution unparalleled in Turkey.

AND 60 YEARS HAVE PASSED…

Yes, Reşat Ekrem Koçu wrote these lines for the Istanbul Encyclopedia approximately 60 years ago. Actually, nothing has changed for us; our workshop has carried the same commitment to quality to the present day and continues this mission with the same enthusiasm as the first day.

Naturally, we utilize modern technology, incorporating the necessary machinery, equipment, and materials, but without compromising our founding mission.

Our workshop has maintained the same commitment to quality since 1949. In addition to our mass production machinery, we continue to provide services with our expert staff specializing in specially designed bindings, luxury boxes, classic bookbindings, and antique restoration.
